Feng shui
Luck: Have you ever known someone who had things come together in such a way that what they'd been hoping to happen, did? That's usually racked up to luck. By using feng shui, you can be the creator of the "luck" that will attract good things to you—be that a new home, wealth, a mate, children or clients. But first, clear the way for the chi you want to attract. Clutter. Clear out trash, dead plants, shrubbery, etc. from your home and surroundings. Clutter makes you stuck. Stuck in the past, stuck in a fuzzy present. To clear the way to the future that you want, get rid of clutter from within and without your home. Tidiness is catching and your neighbors are bound to appreciate the new view. More important: you’ll feel a lighter sense of spaciousness.
Fences. Adding a fence around your property is always a good idea. It’s the metaphorical appearance of protectiveness. However, it's also a good idea to talk to your neighbors about the type of material you plan to choose. At time of resale, it's better when there are several houses clustered near each other with the same sort of fence. More of an issue is that the material retain its appearance. A rusting chain link fence wards off prospective buyers. A cedar wood fence is relatively easy to maintain and even smells good attracting buyers to your place. Trees. Trees on your lawn represent parents. And, just as in the case of your own parents, don't neglect them. Never allow a dead tree to remain standing on your property. Should you remove any sick ones, make sure to replace them as soon as possible. Your home heating and cooling bill will show a difference and birds will always have a place to nest making your neighborhood a pleasant-sounding place in which to live.
Trash bins. If you live in a neighborhood where the city trucks must pick up trash curbside, return your trash bins to their day spaces as soon as possible after the pick-up. If not, the energy coming to your home must first pass through your garbage bins. Not a good scent to flavor it with. For the sweet smell of success, make certain that the first thing that new energy sees of your home is your pride of ownership not the state of your garbage bins. Plantings. Select plantings that give off a pleasant aroma. Imagine your future mate, job, child or your winning lottery ticket surrounded by the aroma that you love. Yellow is the color for health, pink for love. Best of all, herbals revive the senses. Color. A fresh coat of paint applied to a weather-damaged door may be enough to tide things over until it can be replaced. But be mindful that certain colors attract specific energy. Lipstick red goes well with brick or stucco and attracts abundance; navy (with gray siding or stone) attracts new clients. Putty-colored paint is neutral and, although it improves appearance, depending on the shade, may or may not attract earth elements to your home. Go for the red or blue.
