| Dog Love vs. Human Love |
I was invited to perform an ESP demonstration for a Sweet Sixteen Party in a home on the North Shore of Chicago for a small group of 20 or more teenagers. who wanted to hear my psychic thoughts about their futures.
"Why is your dog so sad," I asked the birthday girl? Judy whispered with tears in her eyes, "When we went to adopt Tupper, he didn't want to leave his girlfriend, but my mother said we could only get one dog at a time. Later we found out the other other dog was adopted and the pet store owner didn't know by whom."
"Tupper doesn't understand why his girlfriend isn't here. He wants to see her. Dogs can't reconcile and Tupper doesn't have the ability to understand what happened. All he knows is that his partner is gone. He cares more about her happiness than his own."
This experience taught me that dogs need love as much as humans.
All of a sudden I had a hunch. "Go back to the pet store. The people who adopted Tupper's sweetheart have brought her back."
