After everyone loosens up and listens and drums, the sound begins to have a cadence that one drummer could not produce alone in a drum circle, it's a magical feeling of joy that resonates and uplifts everyone present. I share your joy at the utter simplicity of the phenomena. I intend to drum more in my healing work. Ruth Drummers call it a 'groove, when the alignment that occurs when similar rhythms harmonize.
