Page 2 of 2 In recent years the medical field has conducted experiments on the power of prayer!!! A medical experiment was done on bacteria which were divided in half. One group prayed over one half which multiplied greatly, and the other remaining bacteria stayed in the same controlled setting and stayed virtually the same. This proves prayer is powerful. But we humans need to do more!! Have you ever heard of Reike? Reiki is the channeling of energy from the atmosphere of God for healing. It is an ancient healing art. By making a small change in your habits, you will feel better. Act now to help yourself, your family, your country, and the planet. This will help bring peace of mind. 1. Unplug appliances you can easily reach. Many appliances even though they are not being used are letting out emissions in the air and are adding to your electrical bill. 2. Shut down your printers, computers instead of using your coffee makers all day use your thermal bottles or pitchers which will keep things hot for many hours. 3. Change your light bulbs to more energy efficient ones. 4. Use the bus, bike or walk if you can, give someone a lift when shopping. 5. When you buy a new car make it more energy efficient there are Hybrid brands that do not use gas on the market already. 6. When heating turn down your thermostat and wear more or warmer clothes. 7. Air Conditioning, turn up the thermostat. 8. Recycle plastic, paper, cans & bottles. 9. Call the city or village to get recycle containers. I am sure you may have suggestions as well. Please fill out the form you received. Volunteers will collect them during a brief intermission later. 10. Save trees by not using paper products so frequently. Wash dishes instead and use water cautiously. Save your health, your planet, and lower your costs. This is a win win situation. I believe God, Salam, Shaddi, will than help us bring a true peace when we do what we were meant to do from the beginning. Together, we can make peace happen! It’s no secret that our thoughts, words, and deeds have far-reaching consequences. Individually and collectively, we have the power to heal the world or to destroy it. May God be between us and harm, and everywhere between. www.workforworldpeace.org.
